Happy September SBF friends! We hope everyone had a nice break and enjoyable Labor Day. We are absolutely loving these cooler days and nights we’re experiencing. We are also very thankful for the pleasant weather, as we all know other regions of our country and world have not been as fortunate lately. We hope that none of you were directly impacted by the recent storms and many thoughts and prayers go out to those that were and continue to be. You will find quite a few cooler season crops in your cooler this week and those will continue, but we’re still feeling confident that the high tunnel environment will allow us to pick more tomatoes this season. Our last planting of sweet corn is in this week’s cooler. It’s been a great year for sweet corn! We know that almost every ear this season has had a worm or two on the end of the ear, but we’d rather cut off the end of the ear than contaminate our food and soil with chemicals. Have a great week!
