As the sun sets earlier each day, we farmers really begin to connect with the sun — both the farmers and the sun are feeling a need to rest (but please don’t tell the tomatoes it’s October, we don’t want them to rest just yet). During this time we really start reflecting on the season. On the ups and downs, but most of all on how to make next season better than this one. Improvements are always at the front of our minds, but now, the wheels turn from thinking and discussing to planning. But rest assured, we still have plenty of yummy produce growing out in the gardens for you. And while we bet most of you are looking forward to a rest as well, we hope you take this time to really enjoy each healthy bite that has been grown just for you.
